Dr Cat Ball
Cat is policy manager at AMRC, focusing on ensuring the best possible environment for health and medical research charities to enable patients to benefit from research.
As part of the policy and public affairs team she engages with members and champions the medical research charity sector with key stakeholders. She works across a range of policy areas - from the impications of Brexit for medical research to the Charity Research Support Fund and the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy.
Cat has a doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Oxford and an MChem in chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. She has previously worked in policy roles in the House of Lords and Learned Societies.
